About

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stattin Yates was born and raised in Bellevue, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with his degree in Secondary Education, Social Sciences and was on the chancellor’s list. He was active around campus and never turned down a chance to be around friends, meet new people, and attend a concert or a hockey game. After graduating, Stattin traveled around the US for a year and then took a job teaching Psychology, Sociology, Law and now Math in Omaha Public Schools. He was inspired to write this book because after five years of teaching high school seniors, he saw a potential to help them fill the gap between high school and college with his college experience. Now, Stattin lives in Omaha, Nebraska with his wife and daughter and focuses on writing, teaching, coaching and other business ventures.
